Returns & Refund Policy
ToolSwap is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects buyers and sellers directly. Our goal is to maintain a safe, fair, and transparent environment for every transaction.
All Sales Are Final
All sales on ToolSwap are final. The only exception is if the item you received is broken, damaged, or not as advertised in the original listing.
If you believe your purchase qualifies for a return, you must inspect your item and submit a claim within 3 days (72 hours) of delivery to be eligible for a refund.
To start a claim, email us at support@toolswap.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item.
Return Process
If ToolSwap determines that the item is not as described, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label.
You must return the item to the original seller in the same condition it was received.
Once the return is verified as received by the seller, we will process your full refund.
Refunds are issued back to your original payment method and typically take 3–5 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
Non-Refundable Orders
An order becomes non-refundable once:

You have approved the sale in your ToolSwap account, or

72 hours have passed since the item was delivered, whichever comes first

The item has been used, modified, or damaged after delivery
